![]() ![]() It also has 2 mini maps that you can go into which is very cool. If you contribute then you're helping everybody (and vice versa), but it won't give you straight up points although the person who contributes the most gets a big bonus at the end while you lose points for contributing the least. Japan/Italy - I love the Japan map! This one has the bullet train that everybody can contribute to and use. Not everybody loves this aspect since there is so much more upkeep as you need to manage both train cards and ship cards, but I myself can handle it (I use the wooden card holders of the Asia map) and I just think the world map is epic! The Canada map is also nice and has more train routes than ship routes. Also you can build harbours which can score you a massive amount of points, but you'll need ship cards with anchors on them as well so you need to keep those apart. ![]() Rails & Sails (World Map/Canada) - I love the World Map! The game basically introduces ship cards next to train cards. You can build mountain routes that might be more advantageous (shorter), but you need to throw away trains (each which scores you points at the end of the game) which means you'll have less trains to work with. It's very funny to try and figure out where your teammate is trying to build and every game has those moments of euphoria when you are perfectly in sync or deep sighs when he/she takes the cards from the shared deck that you really need! Legendary Asia is also quite nice. You cannot talk with each other during the game and you always draw one card for yourself and the other for the team. Team Asia/Legendary Asia - Team Asia is amazing and my favourite way of playing TTR since you're working together in a team. This is how I roughly rank them from favourite to least favourite. I played every one except the Marklin one. r/tabletopgamedesign - Designer's subreddit.r/boardgameexchange - selling/buying/trading games.Game of the Week Calendar Related Sites & Subreddits The simplest use is to bold game names in your comment and add " /u/r2d8 getinfo" at the end of the post, but this post/sub has other features identified. Lorsque la réserve de wagons d’un joueur tombe à 6 pions (wagons et bateaux confondus).Flair icons are BoardGameGeek microbadges and are used with permission. Because you start with all your harbor pieces anyway you would never need to exchange them you are only exchanging trains for ships or vice-versa. Note that "plastic pieces" is also used in the rulebook in other places, such as when talking about exchanging pieces. When any one player’s supply of plastic pieces contains six pieces or fewer (regardless of their type), each player, including that player, gets two more turns, after which the game ends and players calculate their final scores. The specific wording form the English rulebook: The English rulebook is a bit unclear on this point, but other translations make it clear.
